Code Commenting

To comment out a line of code you use two hash symbols like ##. You can use comments on the same line as visible code. See the examples below:

  1. ## This is a single line comment.  
  2.   
  3. This text is visible. ## This text is not.  

To comment out several lines of code you would use the following:

  1. This is text that is outside the multi-line comment.  
  2. Online visitors can see it.  
  3.   
  4. #*  
  5. Thus begins a multi-line comment. Online visitors won't  
  6. see this text because the Velocity Templating Engine will  
  7. ignore it.
